Workshop on Indonesian-type Voice System

Information for Speakers

Sessions

Talks concentrating on languages/dialects significantly different from standard Malay should include a detailed description of how the voice system works, or in the absence of a complete voice system, a discussion of what systems (if any) serve the same types of function.

• Each talk consists of 35 minutes presentation followed by 15 minutes discussion.
• Speakers who give a talk in the first and the second slots on both Saturday and Sunday are requested to arrive at the workshop room at 9:40 to prepare for the presentation.
• All participants are welcome to join the party on Saturday.

Submission of the Title, Abstract, and Full Paper.

Please submit the title, abstract (max. 600 words), and full paper (approx. 6 pages, MS-word format) by the following dates.

• Title submission due: 10 May, 2010
• Abstract submission due: 31 May, 2010
• Full Paper submission due: 5 July, 2010
• A4, Please use Times New Roman: Font size 12pt (for special characters, please use another unicode fonts, e.g. Doulous SIL).
• Workshop dates: 17-18 July, 2010

If you wish to distribute a handout other than full paper, please send a file to Lingdy Office () no later than 12th July.
